Etiket, HTML dosyasında kullanılan komutlara verilen addır. HTML içinde kullanılan tüm etiketler “<” işareti ile başlar ve “>”ile biter. Ayrıca etiketin yorum aralığı da “</etiket ismi>” kalıbı ile bitirilir. Aşağıda etiket kullanımına kısa bir örnek verilmektedir.
